The Men’s Locker Room Supervisor will support the Managers to ensure the department and staff provide a genuinely elegant, relaxing, and memorable experience. The Men’s Locker Room Supervisor is responsible for all facets of the locker room, as it relates to operations & cleanliness, efficient operations, customer service, & team development. Success relies in strong leadership, outstanding hospitality, & resources to support staff with product education and environment awareness education. The Men’s Locker Room Supervisor will assist in educating staff on all retail products the Locker Room offers, as well as services we provide in our Spa, ensuring the highest quality of service standards and profitability. The Men’s Locker Room Supervisor will work closely with the Managers and attendants to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing procedures and coaching staff. The Men’s Locker Room Supervisor is expected to create/maintain a fun and rewarding experience for our staff and guests. Pay Rate: $21.25 per hour. This position is considered entry level. Full-time Schedule: Sunday: off Monday: off Tuesday: 3:30-11:00pm Wednesday: 3:30-11:00pm Thursday: 3:30-11:00pm Friday: 3:30-11:00pm Saturday: 1:00-9:00pm Responsibilities: Customer Service/Leadership Lead by example by providing quality customer service and member resolution in a timely manner. Ensure staff consistently follows our expected high level of hospitality & integrity, delivering a world-class experience, while helping our members live well. Treat members, guests & employees with fairness, integrity, positivity and consistency. Delivers a strong & consistent work ethic. Inspires greatness. Staff Management Ensure schedules are followed and employees remain efficient; manage the need for overtime. Oversee and coach employees to meet consistent standards daily. Work hours at the reception desk to provide training while leading by example. Communicate and enforce company policy and procedures. Communicate all performance issues in a timely manner to management. Assign tasks to employees beyond their daily responsibilities as needed with prioritization and clear expectations and deadlines. Inspect expectations. Locker Management Ensure all lockers are clean at all times. Assist Management in sales, cancellations and audits of lockers. Assist with management of locker billing (new rentals, upgrades, downgrades & cancellations). Administrative and Marketing Inventory control of retail products, as well as complimentary products provided throughout the locker room. Provide ideas to drive business to meet monthly and annual goals. Daily Operations Thorough understanding of our Point of Sale platform and procedures and providing ongoing training to staff. Provide quality control walk-through’s of all locker areas, to ensure the MLR floor check list is being completed timely, accurately, and efficiently. Work directly with all attendants to ensure proper walk, procedures, and execution is followed at all times, to ensure a clean and safe environment. Identify and address minute cleanliness issues throughout. Train and develop attendants with all housekeeping needs, focus, and safety requirements. Strong communication amongst supervisory/management team to ensure smooth operations and transition between shifts. Oversee cleanliness & maintenance needs of all locker room areas, to ensure the locker room is a clean and inviting atmosphere for members, guests and employees. Oversee cleanliness of all desk/office areas, including displays. Collection of lost and found items, and prompt delivery to the Management Office for record keeping. Retail product displays are rotating with fresh products no less than monthly, and kept clean and in order at all times. Knowledge of all retail products provided, as well as spa services offered. Work with the Locker Room management and Spa department for product implementation & education. Provide scheduling support to the Spa department. Other tasks as assigned by Manager(s) and/or Director(s). Requirements Physical Requirements Standing for sustained periods of time. Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds. Movement with fingers, hands, wrists and arms. Ability to grasp and reach, sometimes above shoulder level. Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances used in spa & locker room. Occasional need to use a ladder for stock/inventory needs. Frequent ability to stoop, kneel and crouch. Qualifications Experience with working in a luxury, upscale environment with strong hospitality focus. Previous supervisory experience required, minimum of 2 years preferred. Demonstrate strong leadership ability. Ability to multitask, may need to fill in as needed. Assist the reception staff and attendants as needed. Exceptional organizational, written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to build a strong & productive team environment.
