What the role involves: The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis leads the FP&A function and drives the Finance Business Partnering model across the organization. This role is pivotal in connecting finance with the broader business — ensuring strategic alignment, financial discipline, and data-driven decision-making. The incumbent will leverage a strong accounting foundation to oversee accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while fostering collaboration with business and HR leaders to optimize resources and support organizational growth. Lead the Finance Business Partnering model across all budget owners and HR, providing insight, challenge, and support to ensure financial targets are achieved. Drive the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, aligning financial plans with strategic and operational priorities. Conduct in-depth financial and operational analyses, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior management. Oversee the accuracy and integrity of accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies. Partner with the accounting team to deliver timely management reports, variance analyses, and business performance reviews. Lead finance transformation initiatives, focusing on automation, reporting optimization, and process efficiency. Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. (federal and state) and European regulations, tax accuracy, and integration with financial systems.Manage Champion a continuous improvement culture within the FP&A and Finance Business Partnering teams, fostering innovation and cross-functional collaboration. Mentor and develop team members, ensuring a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged finance organization. Requirements Who you are: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven expertise in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive budgeting and forecasting models and cycles. In-depth knowledge of payroll operations, tax regulations (federal, state, and European), and best practices for payroll processing and reconciliation. Experience with payroll systems and their integration with financial reporting platforms. Proficiency in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, with deep understanding of GAAP. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (experience with NetSuite preferred). Strong analytical and technical skills for interpreting financial data and producing reports, statements, and projections. Strategic and commercial mindset, able to translate financial data into actionable business insights. Strong accounting foundation, with demonstrated ability to interpret financial statements and ensure reporting accuracy. Influential leadership, capable of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Analytical rigor and precision, ensuring credibility and integrity of all financial deliverables. Exceptional communication skills, adept at simplifying complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences. Organizational agility, managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment. Proactive and results-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
