Joele Frank is a leading strategic communications firm. From mergers and acquisitions to shareholder activism, crisis communications, and other high-stakes situations, we help our clients communicate effectively with their stakeholders when it matters most.
We are seeking a Digital Strategist—an experienced leader with deep expertise in digital tools and a proven ability to deliver high-impact digital programs across complex client engagements. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical rigor, and leadership, with the ability to advise senior executives and manage cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead digital strategy development and execution across paid, owned, and earned channels for clients in sectors including healthcare, financial services, and technology.
•Advise C-suite executives and boards on digital reputation management, thought leadership, and social media strategy—including CEO LinkedIn optimization, digital IR programs, and crisis response
•Architect and manage paid media campaigns on platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Search (must be expert in Google Advertising network), Instagram, and YouTube, including creative development, targeting, and performance analytics
•Design and implement digital and video playbooks for special situations including shareholder activism, litigation, and reputational threats.
•Conduct digital audits and competitive benchmarking to inform content strategy, platform optimization, and executive visibility.
•Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver integrated digital communications plans, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives.
•Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal capability building across the Digital team.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree required.
•5+ years of experience in digital strategy, communications, or marketing.
•Expertise in social media management, paid media, and content strategy.
•Proficiency with analytics tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Listening and Monitoring Tools).
•Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
$150,000 - $175,000 a year
