The Overnight Security Guard is responsible for the safety and security of the facility, employees, and company assets during nighttime hours. This position requires active monitoring of surveillance systems, regular patrols, and steady judgement in response to any incidents. The role maintains a visible presence, deters unauthorized activity, and ensures that the site remains secure. The ideal candidate is attentive, alert throughout overnight hours, communicates clearly, and responds calmly in stressful or urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong security presence to deter unauthorized access and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility, including perimeters, access points, and high-risk areas.
- Monitor security cameras and alarms, promptly responding to any suspicious activity.
- Respond to emergencies, including security breaches, fire alarms, or medical incidents, following established protocols.
- Document and report all security incidents, including unauthorized access, disturbances, and equipment malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with management, law enforcement, and emergency services when required.
- Assist employees and authorized visitors with security-related concerns and escort individuals as needed.
- Conduct inspections of locks, gates, doors, and other security-related equipment to ensure functionality.
- Maintain a log of all incidents, shift activities, and security-related observations.
- Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with all state and federal security regulations.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
- This is an on-site position. No remote work.
- Active BSIS Guard Card required.
- Ability to pass a background check following a preliminary job offer
- Strong alignment with the company Mission and Core Values with consistent adherence and minimal oversight
- Previous security experience is preferred, ideally in an industrial or warehouse environment.
$22 - $23 an hour
