The Solutions Consultant – Technology & Security is responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of Lumin Digital’s Technology and Security solutions, partnering closely with sales and internal teams to deliver impactful demonstrations, roadmap insights, and subject matter expertise. This role is critical to helping prospects, clients, and internal stakeholders understand the value of our technology and security solutions. The Solutions Consultant will leverage polished presentation abilities, collaborative pre-sales experience, and digital banking expertise to articulate and differentiate the value of Lumin Digital’s technology and security solutions, driving adoption across clients and the market.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Maintain deep product knowledge of technology and security solutions through internal meetings, collaboration with SME’s, and industry engagement.
Review roadmap items and align sales teams with future capabilities, ensuring consistent and accurate messaging across internal and external communications.
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), reviewing documentation, providing guidance, and ensuring accuracy across teams.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations ranging from high-level overviews to technical deep dives for diverse audiences, including executives.
Partner with sales and product teams to shape deal strategy, scope opportunities, and support the development of Statements of Work (SOWs).
Collaborate with SMEs across Lumin to craft accurate responses to client questions and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Maintain and refine technology and security content within the RFP database to reflect current and future product capabilities.
Support sales, marketing, technical, and channel objectives to drive adoption and success of technology and security solutions.
Build an in-depth understanding of Lumin’s broader product offerings and capabilities to enhance solution positioning.

Position Specifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Experience:
10 years of experience in digital banking, fintech, or financial services technology, with deep expertise in technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud-based solution delivery.
Demonstrated hands-on mastery of topics such as authentication, KYC/AML, firewalls, connectivity, communications security, encryption, fraud mitigation, and data protection frameworks developed through roles in information security, enterprise architecture, technical consulting, or advanced sales engineering.
Experience designing and delivering compelling, technically precise demonstrations that translate complex infrastructure and security capabilities into clear business value for both executive and technical audiences.
Extensive experience partnering with product, sales, and security teams to shape solution strategy, define opportunity scope, and articulate security and technology differentiators that drive client confidence and adoption.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Deep understanding of digital banking trends, credit union and banking operations, and the competitive landscape for cloud native hosted digital banking solutions.
Working knowledge of foundational concepts and the current state of the art, for topics including KYC, AML, authentication, firewalls and connectivity, communications security, and consumer fraud trends.
Strong understanding of digital banking architectures, including API-driven integrations, SaaS delivery models, cloud-native hosting environments, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, PCI, FFIEC).
Recognized credibility with C-suite executives, IT leaders, and risk stakeholders, with a proven ability to bridge business, technical, and regulatory conversations effectively.
Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills with proven ability to deliver persuasive demonstrations and executive-level presentations that inspire confidence and drive decision-making.
Strong ability to uncover client needs, link business challenges to product solutions, and recommend approaches that maximize client outcomes.
Skilled at working cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, risk, and delivery teams to align strategies and ensure consistent messaging; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to quickly learn new product features, industry shifts, and competitor positioning, applying this knowledge to maintain subject matter expertise.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), RFP response platforms, digital collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams), and presentation platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to align product capabilities to complex client challenges and strategic business objectives.
