Description Job Summary: The Human Resources Generalist plays a central role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, serving as the first point of contact for employees and delivering high-quality support across HR operations, employee relations, and compliance. This role manages day-to-day HR processes, including leave of absence administration, ADA accommodations, onboarding and orientation, and the creation and maintenance of HR documentation. The Human Resources Generalist works closely with the Human Resources Manager and Sr. Human Resources Administrator to ensure a consistent, positive employee experience and contribute to the overall success of REE Medical. This position requires a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate and timely results, especially in areas where quality and compliance are critical. The ideal candidate approaches problem-solving using established systems and policies, communicates clearly and directly, and builds trust through clarity, accuracy, and reliability. While they may guide or train others, their leadership is rooted in expertise and process discipline. What is expected in this role: Support employees across the full lifecycle and HR programs, including onboarding, leave of absence, performance management, benefits, and separations. Partner with the Human Resources Manager on the administrative delivery of HR programs and initiatives. Serve as first-level support for employee relations matters, working with the HR Manager on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances, and harassment claims. Conduct, oversee and manage workplace investigations in coordination with HR Manager and General Counsel. Own the Employee Onboarding Experience, including facilitating sessions, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and partnering with the HR Admin on tactical execution. Administer all leave programs (FMLA, state leaves, personal leave, etc.) in partnership with Insperity and in compliance with legal requirements across all 50 states. Manage the ADA accommodation process, including intake, documentation, communication, and scheduling. Support HR compliance by maintaining company policies and procedures and ensuring alignment between employee needs and organizational requirements. Track and report HR KPIs and metrics related to hiring, onboarding, turnover, and training compliance. Support employee engagement initiatives such as surveys, feedback cycles, and recognition programs in collaboration with HR leadership. Strong technical and analytical approach to troubleshooting issues within established guidelines. Make timely, accurate decisions within defined processes and policies. Communicates in a clear, concise, and task-focused manner. Maintains strong attention to detail, consistency, and process accuracy. Requirements What you need in this role to be successful: 4+ years of HR Generalist, Specialist, or People Operations experience covering broad HR functional areas, including: employee relations, leave administration, payroll, etc. Solid knowledge of leave administration (FMLA and state leaves) and ADA accommodations across all 50 states. Knowledgeable in FLSA requirements. Experience conducting employee relations intake, documentation, and supporting investigations. Strong proficiency with MS Office, HRIS, ATS, and other HR technologies. Highly organized with the ability to multitask and operate effectively in ambiguous situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership. Exceptional attention to detail. Experience in a start-up or early-stage environment with limited structure or evolving processes. Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
