We are seeking a Sales Director, Political & Public Sector to lead growth across political, advocacy, and government markets. This role blends strategic selling, business development, and product partnership. You will be responsible for driving adoption of MediaRadar’s advertising intelligence and analytics solutions among political buyers, government agencies, and public-sector organizations, while shaping go-to-market strategy within this high-impact vertical. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers, helping them leverage MediaRadar’s data to make smarter campaign, compliance, and media investment decisions. This is a growth role that requires a self-starter with a strong network in the political and public-sector ecosystem and the ability to think creatively about product-market fit and partnership Requirements What You’ll Do: Achieve or exceed annual sales and revenue targets within the political, advocacy, and public-sector ecosystem. Leverage an established network of relationships within political campaigns, public-sector agencies, associations, and consultancies to drive new business opportunities. Develop and execute a vertical-specific go-to-market plan that aligns with election cycles, budgetary processes, and legislative priorities. Act as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers across campaigns, agencies, PACs, and public offices, identifying how MediaRadar’s insights can inform smarter advertising and outreach decisions. Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine offerings and ensure relevance for the political and public-sector marketplace. Partner with client success to ensure adoption, retention, and expansion of high-value relationships. Maintain deep, real-time awareness of political advertising trends, compliance regulations (e.g., FEC rules), and public-sector procurement dynamics. Represent MediaRadar at key political, advocacy, and government conferences and industry events. What You’ve Done: Must have 5–7+ years of experience selling into the political, advocacy, or public-sector ecosystem. Examples include selling SaaS, data, analytics, media, or compliance solutions to campaign committees, PACs, agencies, or government clients. Additional Media experience outside of the Political arena is a plus. Proven success in building and growing long-term relationships across complex, multi-stakeholder organizations. Demonstrated understanding of political and public-sector buying cycles, RFP processes, and budgetary constraints. Track record of exceeding quotas and driving growth through strategic partnerships and consultative sales. Experience collaborating with internal product or data teams to identify market opportunities and influence product direction. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills — comfortable engaging at C-suite, campaign leadership, and senior government levels.
