Description We are looking for a Senior Culinary Operations Project Coordinator to join our mission-driven team. As an integral part of the Culinary department, you will join forces with the Culinary director (to whom you will also report) in our continued effort to inspire people to eat more plants! This position will play an important role in connecting Culinary, Marketing, Brand/Creative, Product & Engineering, Loyalty, and Operations, ensuring meal launches and cross-functional projects run smoothly, efficiently, and on time. As the Senior Culinary Operations Project Coordinator, you will be focused on managing timelines, deliverables, and workflows for meal launches (Meal Kits & Ready-to-Eat), while supporting the documentation, coordination, and administrative tasks that keep projects moving. Success in this role means deadlines are met, roadblocks are surfaced early, and customers experience consistent value across all Purple Carrot categories. Our hybrid approach includes 2-3 in-office days each week, giving teams the best of both flexibility and collaboration. Many team members choose to come in more often - itâs a great way to stay inspired and engaged with the team. This role has limited Chicagoland travel (<10%) to our creative partner sites or other business-related meetings. On the Plate Drive cross-functional coordination across Culinary, Marketing, Brand/Creative, Product & Engineering, Loyalty, and Operations to ensure smooth and timely meal launches. Manage and update launch calendars with the Marketing PM, including workback schedules for new meals, seasonal offerings, and promotions. Own timelines and deliverables for Meal Kit and Ready-to-Eat launches, ensuring accountability across all teams. Facilitate meetings by setting agendas, capturing key outcomes, and following up on next steps to keep projects on track. Maintain clean and organized documentation across Galley, Admin, Asana, and other systems to ensure visibility and consistency. Identify risks early and propose solutions to remove blockers. Fully own the web upload process, ensuring product data, recipe content, and imagery flow accurately between Culinary, Creative, and eCommerce. Capture learnings post-launch and collaborate with teams on continuous process improvements. Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as necessary. Main Ingredients for the Role 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, food operations, or project management. Bachelor's degree in business, communications, culinary management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Able to commute to the office in Chicago Proficiency in Google Suite, Asana, Galley, or similar project/product management tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex information into clear, actionable next steps. An analytical mindset with comfort reviewing data and feedback to surface insights and make recommendations. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Passion for food, creativity, and plant-based innovation. Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $80,000. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications, and the posted range is not a guarantee of any specific offer.
