Description At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Coachella, CA ! About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Coachella, CA Details: In-Person Tutoring in Coachella, CA Schedule: tutoring sessions and hours (TBD) Pay rate between $25 and $35 Ideal Candidate: Experienced in special education and working with students with Autism, Intellectual Disability, and ADHD. Skilled in interactive, visual, and multisensory teaching approaches . Patient, creative, and able to adapt lessons to maintain motivation and engagement. Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). Comfortable providing in-person instruction in Coachella, CA. Key Responsibilities: Create and implement custom lessons aligned with the student’s current skill level. Provide support in: Early literacy skills (letter recognition, phonics, pre-reading skills) Foundational math (number recognition, single-digit addition/subtraction, counting) Incorporate visual and hands-on learning strategies to support engagement and retention. Integrate art-based activities to reinforce academic concepts in an enjoyable, interactive way. Use positive reinforcement and motivating strategies to maintain focus and participation.
