Serán BioScience is expanding and searching for a dedicated Recruitment Specialist to support the hiring needs of a growing organization. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and promoting positive experiences for any level of engagement opportunity. Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing not required, however would give candidates a technical advantage in this role. Strong communication, organization, discretion, and integrity are qualities desired in the role. As an internal service provider, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners will ensure success for this position. A great opportunity for an independent recruiter to focus on one client or an HR professional to join a supportive team.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares recruitment materials and attends recruitment events
- Networks with potential hires through professional groups, social media, hiring events, and through direct communication
- Sources and recruits candidates using Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Screen resumes and job applications with direction from department hiring mangers
- Conducts initial phone interviews to create shortlists of qualified candidates
- Schedules candidate interviews and assists candidates with travel arrangements
- Creates offer letters, ensures background and reference checks are complete
- Nurtures positive relationships with candidates and partnership organizations
- Trains and guides hiring panels to ensure legal compliance and successful interviewing techniques and assessment methods
- Works with department managers to develop and update job descriptions
- Coordinate Employee Referral Program
- Collaborates with hiring managers to identify current and future employment needs
- Tracks hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
- Participates in job fairs and college recruitments
- Provides reporting for quarterly and annual hiring plans
- Promotes Company’s reputation as an employer of choice
- May cross train on additional HR and Administrative functions
- May assist with onboarding new employees and other Human Resources tasks
- Performs back up to administrative duties deemed necessary by the Company
- Scope of work may increase to align with company initiatives
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities
- Ability to assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and professional websites like LinkedIn and Facebook
- Proficient and demonstrated ability with applicant tracking systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Communicates effectively and maintains productive relationships with coworkers, clients, and other contacts outside of the company
- Accepts feedback from a variety of sources and constructively manages conflict
- Ability to keep company confidence and candidate discretion
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferably Microsoft Office 365, and aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Proficient knowledge of and ability to ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations, especially pertaining to recruitment
Education and Experience
- Associate’s or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; and two years of recruitment experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current Human Resources certification preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Adheres to consistent and predictable in-person attendance
