We are seeking an experienced Staff Analyst, Business Systems who will lead large, cross-functional business systems initiatives spanning multiple enterprise platforms including Salesforce, NetSuite, Boomi, Arena, and Snowflake. This role serves as the bridge between business process owners, technical teams, and system administrators-ensuring that initiatives are well-defined, compliant, and successfully delivered from concept through deployment. The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of business process design and data integration with the ability to manage complex, multi-system projects. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, a structured approach to project execution, and familiarity with regulated environments such as ISO 13485 and SOX. This role will report to our Associate Director, Business Systems and will be an on-site, San Diego based role.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lead complex, cross-departmental initiatives that span Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial systems
- Define and manage project scope, requirements, timelines, risks, and deliverables for multi-system integrations or enhancements
- Function as the primary driver for execution—coordinating across business teams, technical resources, and system admins to ensure consistency in architecture, data flow, and delivery
- Manage change control, validation, and release readiness to ensure smooth deployment and adoption
- Act as a subject matter expert for process design and solution delivery across the enterprise system landscape
- Partner with business stakeholders to capture and refine business needs, translate them into detailed functional specifications, and independently design, configure, and validate scalable solutions across systems
- Collaborate with admins and developers as needed to implement and deploy enhancements while ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance requirements
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, requirements traceability, testing scripts, and validation evidence
- Evaluate proposed solutions and configurations to ensure technical feasibility, long-term maintainability, and alignment with business processes, data models, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate end-to-end testing across systems, including test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production validation
- Support validation and documentation activities for regulated system changes under ISO 13485 and SOX frameworks
- Drive post-deployment review, ensure training and user adoption, and oversee handoff to support teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system standardization across the enterprise landscape
- Contribute to governance of data flows, change management, and integration standards to maintain system integrity
- Support roadmap planning and prioritization for strategic business systems initiatives
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (preferred but not required: PMP, MBA, MS, or equivalent advanced degree)
- 5+ years experience delivering cross-functional enterprise system projects (ERP, CRM, integration, or data platforms)
- Proven ability to manage requirements, testing, and delivery across multiple systems and business areas
- Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, Boomi, Arena, and Snowflake—able to partner effectively with system admins
- Experience in regulated industries (life sciences, medtech, manufacturing) preferred
- Understanding of ISO 13485 QMS and/or SOX compliance processes is highly desirable
- Exceptional documentation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Thrives in ambiguity and can bring structure to complex, multi-system projects
- Adept at connecting technical details to business outcomes
- Excels at managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across teams
- Comfortable driving initiatives in a fast-paced, scaling environment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be flexible in working hours as this position may require customer support during non-regular business hours

Base Compensation Pay Range:
- $119,000 - $156,000
In addition to base compensation noted above, you will be eligible for stock options, discretionary annual bonus, no cost health insurance plans, 401k with company match, and flexible paid time off.
Please note: Base compensation will depend on multiple factors, including geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
