Description Northstrat is seeking an experienced and driven Software CM and Baseline Deployment Coordinator (Release Manager) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in overseeing software version control, builds, deployments, and changes while ensuring consistency and integrity throughout the software lifecycle. Additionally, work with development teams to support backlog grooming, increment and sprint planning, and allocation to increment releases, support test procedure development and execution as needed, ensure compliance with policies, and support integration to HW as needed. This role demands a self-starter who can take vaguely defined tasks and independently deliver high-quality artifacts. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans and procedures for software and hardware. Manage code repositories, track source code changes, and ensure the integrity of software versions. Enable the sustainment of various SW baselines for different instantiations/customers, and ensure consistency of features and functionality across the baselines (trunks and forks). Build and release software, including automating builds and ensuring successful deployment to various environments. Develop and maintain the release schedules and coordinate resources for different stages of the release (ie. Feature/code cut-off, test and integration windows, etc.) Create and maintain technical documentation for application configurations, CM processes, and deployed software. Coordinate and control changes to software and hardware configurations, ensuring proper approval and tracking. Ensure consistent version control across all baseline releases, and ensuring successful migration of code across development, testing, and production environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure increments/releases have been fully tested and tickets are closed out Familiarity with and ability to apply Agile methodologies in your work. Derive and create summary notes for major, minor releases. Requirements You must be able to acquire US government Top-Secret clearance with SCI access (TSSCI) in order to be considered. Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in or aptitude to learn CI/CD, DevSecOps, testing and deployment tools (ie. Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Git, Cypress, Robot Framework) Understanding of Agile Scrum practices and traditional waterfall projects. Preferred Qualifications Essential soft skills include strong communication, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities.
