Job Overview:

We are looking for a Project Delivery Manager in Chennai to lead our engineering team (Python + React developers) working on AI-driven applications. You will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery timelines are met, features are shipped with quality, and cross-functional collaboration runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Own project planning, sprint management, and delivery timelines.
• Translate product requirements into clear tasks, milestones, and roadmaps.
• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and ensure Agile discipline.
• Track progress using Jira/Asana/Trello (Agile tools).
• Coordinate between backend (Python) and frontend (React) teams.
• Proactively identify risks, unblock engineers, and escalate issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality, security, and compliance practices.
• Report weekly progress, velocity, and delivery status to leadership.
• Mentor and guide engineers in work prioritization and execution discipline.

Requirements

• 8 – 12 years of experience in project management for software engineering teams.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies (Scrum Master certification is a plus).
• Experience managing backend + frontend teams in enterprise SaaS or AI-driven products.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, or similar project tracking tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and drive accountability in the team.
• Prior experience in AI, SaaS, or developer tools projects.
• Exposure to Python/React tech stacks (not coding, but understanding workflows).
• PMP or CSM certification.
