This role is a critical position within our Governance & Corporate Stewardship (GCS) team. The team offers Joele Frank clients strategic insight into investors’ governance and stewardship priorities and supports the development of effective, sustainable business strategies. We work closely with company executives and boards of directors to identify their critical risks and opportunities and develop strategic communications in support of their GCS programs and performance.

This particular role requires someone with corporate sustainability and governance expertise, an ability to think critically about company vulnerabilities and strengths and deliver strategic advice to senior corporate leaders.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide counsel on corporate sustainability strategies aligned with long-term business objectives
- Advise the Board and senior management on governance trends, proxy voting issues and shareholder engagement strategies
- Oversee preparation of sustainability reports and governance disclosures, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with global standards, evolving stakeholder expectations and the evolving regulatory environment
- Prepare and deliver clear, transparent communications on sustainability risk management and governance practices in proxy statements and investor presentations.
- Assess investor priorities and design appropriate bespoke shareholder engagement strategies
Candidates should possess the following:
- 7+ years of corporate sustainability experience and the ability to demonstrate knowledge of key concepts (e.g., climate-related risk reporting and regulations, human capital and human rights) and evolving reporting standards and regulations
- Well-developed critical thinking, exceptional writing skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and proactively monitors emerging trends, industry developments and best practices to drive innovative solutions and informed decision-making
- Collaborates effectively with colleagues, demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to doing what it takes to achieve shared goals and delivering results under changing priorities
- The ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple projects while under intense pressure
$250,000 - $330,000 a year
