Generous hourly starting pay rate of $30 per hour (w2 employment) SCHEDULE: The PCA Bus Aide is needed to provide student transportation monitoring starting from the bus depot in Oxford, PA to Downingtown, PA and return. AM transportation starting at the bus depot in Oxford, PA to the student's school: 6:20am - 9:20am PM transportation to school and return to bus depot: 12:40pm - 4:25pm Great supplemental opportunity for college students, parents, retirees! Ability to work school-based hours 9:30am - 12:30pm in between bus runs PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Know the proper use of securing devices for safety restraints and seat belts Assist the driver in the proper transition of student support Maintain student safety Supervise and assist student in transit Know the school bus evacuation procedures and be physically capable to evacuate students in an emergency Learn the bus route and provide route information that includes driver directions for the best way to reach a location, for a substitute or newly assigned bus driver Occupy a seat that provides the best opportunity for student supervision while the bus is in motion Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma OR equivalency Experience working with school aged children - preferred Experience with autism and / or other special needs - preferred CREDENTIALS: (Clearances current within 12 months) *CCRES provides paid clearances & TB screening PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance PA Department of Education FBI TB Screening (current within 3 months) Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts Benefits Employees scheduled for 30+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits Employer paid base medical plan!
