About the Position
Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Rockdale office.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level executive support.
- Handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Serve as liaison for assigned business matters.
- Manage business and personal schedules, prioritizing the most critical matters.
- Organize, schedule, and prepare for meetings, send reminders, prepare agendas and material.
- Plan and execute business events (off-site events, luncheons, catering, team building events, etc.).
- Communicate with management throughout the day to manage business needs.
- Prioritize emails, respond when necessary, and make decisions when the CEO is not available.
- Arrange all management travel, including after-hours assistance as needed.
- Assist executive staff with tasks as needed.
- Regularly communicate with sales team to collect weekly reports.
- Answer office phone calls.
- Submit receipts into expense management system.
- Maintain and organize the office, desk, files, and documents.
- Act as a notary public to assist in document execution.
- Ad hoc projects as needed.
What does it take to work for Groome Industrial Service Group?
- High School degree required. BachelorΓÇÖs degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- At least five years of related experience required.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate competent judgment and handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Self-starter with ability to adapt to evolving situations.
- Ability to multitask and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
