Description At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Ontario, CA ! About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP). We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Ontario, CA Details: In-Person Tutoring in Ontario, CA Schedule: 3 x a week for 2hr Hourly rate between $25 and $35 Ideal Candidate: Bilingual in [Insert Required Languages, e.g., English and Spanish] Experience tutoring college-level students, particularly those with Autism or learning differences. Strong background in Economics, Math, Reading, and Writing support. Ability to scaffold complex material and support comprehension in multiple subjects. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Patience, empathy, and flexibility when working with neurodiverse learners. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ABA-informed strategies or familiarity with Autism Spectrum learning profiles. Background in special education, educational psychology, or related fields. Familiarity with the Chaffey College curriculum is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Provide academic tutoring in economics, reading, writing, and math at the college level. Reinforce comprehension strategies, test preparation, and executive functioning skills. Support reading fluency and writing organization to improve performance on assignments and exams. Help build foundational math skills relevant to upcoming coursework. Adapt instruction to meet the student’s learning style and needs in a supportive, patient manner. Maintain a calm and engaging tutoring environment, using interests (e.g., video games, cartoons) as appropriate to build rapport. Communicate progress and strategies with the student and/or caregivers as needed. Why Tutor Me Education?
